Wakelet and Ideamapper - App Smashing FUN to Maximize Learning for ALL Learners

Learning is FUN, DYNAMIC, EVER CHANGING, and able to be PERSONALIZED! That’s what we will explore in this first ever joint session from Wakelet and Ideamapper. You’ll learn more about the two separate products, you’ll also learn some “App-smashing” tips you can put into use immediately. Suitable for any grade level, any content/subject area - we will share free resources and talk about how you can learn more.

Join Joyce Whitby of Ideamapper and Ryan McGinnis of Wakelet, as we learn about Wakelet an amazing way for educators to save, organize, and share content with learners and give them voice and choice over their learning.   We'll also explore the practice of mind mapping with Ideamapper, including: brainstorming, organizing thoughts, re-organizing thoughts, outlining, and writing a finished well-structured document.  Finally, we'll learn how to have fun “app smashing” with Wakelet and Ideamapper to build critical thinking skills and engage students in owning their learning paths.
