This hands-on workshop guides educators and leaders in developing a comprehensive class or school AI position statement and policies that align with their mission and values. Educators will analyze the effectiveness of existing policies and identify areas for improvement, revising and updating policies to ensure they adequately address the challenges and opportunities presented by generative AI. By the end of the course, educators will have the tools and knowledge to develop robust position statements and policies that promote a culture of responsibility and integrity in the use of AI in their classrooms or schools.
