Student absenteeism has been a growing challenge, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic's disruptions. This webinar explores data-driven strategies to understand attendance patterns, identify at-risk students, and implement effective intervention initiatives. We'll cover how to analyze attendance data, utilize positive communication campaigns to engage families and apply an equity lens to attendance practices. With insightful data analysis and strategic communications, schools can proactively address chronic absenteeism and foster a culture of consistent attendance for all students.

Join Dr. Kara Stern, Director, Education and Engagement, SchoolStatus, and Karry Mullins, Retired Asst Supt.,  Binghamton City School District,as we learn how to understand the critical impact of chronic absenteeism on student achievement and how to analyze attendance data to uncover insights and identify focus areas.  We'll also explore techniques for promoting positive attendance through multi-channel communications as well as discover strategies for prioritizing equity in attendance initiatives.  Finally, we'll show how to gain practical tips for engaging families as partners in improving student attendance.

The webinar will provide insights from attendance data analysis, equity-focused best practices, and real-world examples of successful communication campaigns. Attendees will leave with a comprehensive framework to leverage data and communications to cultivate a positive attendance culture in their schools and districts.
