AI is the hot topic in educational technology, and the world right now, but what does this actually look like in practice? And how does AI intersect with what you are already doing in the classroom with the roll out of the NYS computer science and digital fluency standards? This webinar will show you connections, commonalities and creative ideas for implementation.

Join Carrie Rogers-Whitehead of Digital Respons-Ability, as we learn about places where both digital citizenship and AI are mentioned in the CS DF standards and how AI and digital citizenship are connected.  We'll also discuss the ethics of AI and how to teach that in the classroom along with other ideas and sharing of teaching these intertwined topics.

Carrie Rogers-Whitehead is the founder of Digital Respons-Ability, a mission-based company that has taught tens of thousands of parents, students, and educators around the world. Carrie is an adjunct instructor, former librarian and regularly consults and trains on technology, online safety, education, parenting and more. She is an award-winning author of seven books, most recently Deepening Digital Citizenship: A Guide to Systemwide Policy and Practice. Carrie lives at home with her family in Utah.
